Notion AI Pricing Explained
Notion AI costs $10 per member per month on top of your plan. It is not a workspace-level flat fee. Every member who needs AI access adds $10/month to your bill, regardless of whether they are on the Free, Plus, Business, or Enterprise plan.
The AI add-on includes writing assistance (drafts, summaries, translations), Q&A across your entire workspace (ask a question and Notion searches all your pages for the answer), autofill for database properties, and AI-powered templates. It runs on large language models and processes content within your Notion workspace.

A ChatGPT Team subscription costs $25/user/month and works across all apps, not just Notion. A Claude Team subscription costs $30/user/month. If only 2 or 3 people on your team need AI assistance, standalone subscriptions give them more capable AI for general tasks while costing less than adding Notion AI to every seat.
The advantage of Notion AI is workspace integration: it can search all your pages, summarize meeting notes in context, and autofill database fields. Standalone tools cannot do this. If your team relies heavily on Notion as a knowledge base, the workspace-aware AI is worth the premium for at least your key users.

Free plan restrictions tightened
Notion reduced the Free plan guest limit to 10 (previously higher) and enforced the 5 MB upload cap more strictly. The block limit for team workspaces on Free was removed, but guest and file restrictions pushed more teams to Plus.

Plan renaming: Personal Pro became Plus
